another return

split into too many desperate desires
like a star exploding momentarily brilliant into blackest space
scattered pieces lost others might shine bright
always moving in and out of light

told a close friend that all i want is to belong somewhere
attached bound to unquestionable presence and purpose
belong
home

radiate out from some gravitational center
pulling me back in perpetual revolve
round an axis
call it love

all i want is to belong somewhere
rise and set
in an unquestionable pattern
of light
